Two Limited-Edition Timepieces Celebrating Qatar’s Legacy and National Colors
The Qatari watch brand Beda’a is celebrating Qatar National Day, observed on December 18, with the launch of a special edition from its sporty Attrayant collection. Introducing the Attrayant Qatar Edition, the brand unveils two limited-edition models, available in 38 mm and 35 mm sizes, each restricted to just 50 pieces. Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Qatar, the watches feature Eastern Arabic numerals and showcase the iconic burgundy hue of the Qatari flag.
The case of the watch is made of stainless steel 316L, the most commonly used alloy in steel watches. It comes in two sizes, 38mm and 35mm, while the thickness remains the same at 11mm. The octagonal brushed bezel is the most distinctive element of the case. The crown, adorned with the B logo of the brand, is guarded by two brushed crown guards. The watch comes with sapphire crystal on both sides and offers a water resistance of 100 meters, making it a perfect daily timepiece.
The dial of the watches comes in white It features a vertical brushed finish, adding a touch of elegance. Positioned at 6 o'clock, there is a discreet date window, providing practicality without compromising the overall aesthetic. The dial is adorned with skeletonized hands and eastern arabic numerals, enhancing readability and style. A polished minutes track runs around the periphery, accentuated by Super-LumiNova dots for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions, ensuring the watch remains both functional and fashionable.
The seconds hand and Arabic numerals are presented in a burgundy color, reflecting the Qatari flag, while the company logo, written in Arabic, is printed in a black hue at 12 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the Swiss movement ETA 2824, an automatic movement. It beats at 28,800 Vph (4Hz) and offers a power reserve of 38 hours. Equipped with a bi-directional ball-bearing rotor. The watches come with a gray rubber strap, and both are limited editions of 50 pieces each. The 38 mm edition is priced at 7,800 QAR, while the 35 mm edition is priced at 6,800 QAR.
