Introducing Chopard Honors 38 Years of Collaboration with Mille Miglia with Two Limited Editions

The Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph “Sir Stirling Moss” and the GTS Power Control Edition

For the 38th consecutive year, Chopard proudly continues its role as World Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of the Mille Miglia, the legendary Italian endurance rally that has captured the imagination of motorsport enthusiasts since 1927. This enduring partnership, one of the most iconic in both watchmaking and motorsport, is honored in 2025 with the release of two exclusive timepieces: the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Tribute to Sir Stirling Moss and the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control 2025 Race Edition.

Both models will be available exclusively at Chopard boutiques, coinciding with this year’s historic race taking place across Italy from June 17th to 21st.

Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Tribute to Sir Stirling Moss

Paying tribute to one of the rally’s most legendary figures, the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Tribute to Sir Stirling Moss commemorates the 70th anniversary of his record-breaking victory in 1955 behind the wheel of the open-topped Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR—a record that remains unbroken to this day.

This commemorative edition is limited to just 70 pieces and is crafted in Chopard’s exclusive Lucent Steel™.

The 40.5 mm case, with a thickness of 12.88 mm, is inspired by vintage chronographs. It features welded lugs, a polished bezel, a screw-down crown engraved with a steering-wheel motif, and knurled chronograph pushers, all executed in Lucent Steel. A box-shaped sapphire crystal sits atop the dial, while the exhibition caseback is framed by the Mille Miglia motif, displaying the historic timing and date. The case is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The silver-toned opaline dial, with its matte finish, echoes the bodywork of the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. Accented with racing-inspired blue and red details, the dial features baton-style hands and Arabic numerals coated in Grade X1 Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. The chronograph layout includes a small seconds counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, along with a discreet date window nestled between 4 and 5 o’clock.

Inside, the watch is powered by a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement based on the ETA A322-11. It offers a power reserve of 54 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The watch is fitted with a perforated brown calfskin leather strap secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. It is available as a limited edition of just 70 pieces, priced at €11,100, approximately AED 47,000.

A snailed small seconds sub-dial adds texture, while the signature red Mille Miglia arrow points to the date window. The watch also retains the iconic fuel-gauge-style power reserve indicator between 8 and 10 o’clock, echoing its automotive inspiration.

The exhibition caseback reveals a rotor shaped like a vintage steering wheel, accompanied by grille-style bridges that highlight the watch’s mechanical finesse and racing spirit.
