The Elegant “Slate Grey” and the Golden “Sunset” Dial
Breva expands its Segreto di Lario collection with two striking new editions crafted from Grade 5 titanium. Inspired by the most enchanting moments on the shores of Lake Como ‘’moonlight and sunset’ the very lake that inspired the brand’s name and its first release following its revival, these limited editions embody a sportier character. Following the debut model in rose gold, these new timepieces bring a lighter and more vibrant identity to the collection.
The two models feature cases made entirely of titanium and come with two distinctive dial options: a refined and elegant “Slate Grey” and a warm golden “Sunset” dial that evokes the magic of twilight over the lake. While the materials and colors are new, both models preserve the original design identity that defines Breva’s creations.
The watches are presented in Breva’s signature cushion-shaped case, measuring 41 mm in diameter and just 11.10 mm in thickness. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium and finished with meticulous attention to detail, the case is fitted with sapphire crystal on both the front and back, offering a clear view of the movement within.
The polished bezel and lugs harmoniously contrast with the microblasted case flanks and caseback, which are adorned with precision laser engravings. The case also offers water resistance up to 50 meters.
The dial comes in two options, a grey and golden editions, and each dial is composed of two layers, a vertical satin-finished central dial and a lower rhodium-plated section adorned with vertical Côtes de Genève decoration.
Each section is securely fixed to the base with two screws. Framing the display is a crisp white track with a black railway-style minute scale, enhancing the watch’s classical aesthetic.
All hands are silver-toned and polished, except for the central minutes hand and the power reserve indicator, both rendered in rose gold, as is the applied Breva logo, subtle accents that enhance the watch’s elegance.
Positioned at six o’clock, the dual power reserve indicator is a key feature of the timepiece. The first hand tracks the power reserve over the initial six days, while the second takes over for the final 24 hours, providing a more detailed and precise reading of the remaining energy.
The manually wound movement, visible through the transparent caseback, has been exclusively developed by Jean-François Mojon of Chronode. This special edition of the C101 caliber features a retrograde seconds display and a unique non-linear dual power reserve indicator. Thanks to its twin-barrel construction, the hand-wound movement delivers a seven-day power reserve and operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz).
Exemplifying the highest standards of haute horlogerie, the movement boasts hand-chamfered bridges, sandblasted finishing, and meticulously polished edges, reflecting Breva’s dedication to fine craftsmanship.
