The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Bremont New Generation Supermarine S302 Collection

Three variations with fresh colors and a refined GMT function design

Bremont is a British luxury watch manufacturer renowned for its aviation-themed timepieces and its dedication to craftsmanship and durability. It was founded by brothers Nick and Giles English in 2002. Their passion for aviation and mechanics was deeply influenced by their father, Dr. Euan English, a former Royal Air Force pilot. A tragic plane crash in 1995 claimed their father's life and severely injured Nick. This event played a pivotal role in the brothers' decision to honor their father's legacy by creating aviation-inspired timepieces.

The original Supermarine S302 GMT

Bremont launched the Supermarine collection in 2009, with watches inspired by the company's passion for aviation. They were named after the Supermarine aircraft company, creators of the iconic Spitfire fighter plane used during World War II. In 2021, Bremont unveiled the Supermarine S302 GMT, adding a GMT function to the S301, which was originally introduced in 2017. The watch has maintained its exclusivity with a singular colorway set in a stainless steel Bremont “Trip-Tick” case, featuring an elapsed time bezel and a 24-hour scale encircling the dial. However, the brand's 2023 release sees a new generation of the S302 GMT, available in three variants, one of them features a blue and green bezel with a blue dial, while the S302 Jet comes in black DLC case that features a matte black dial, and last version is a limited edition of 400 pieces that comes in gray. The limited edition is a collaboration with marine biologist and freediver Ocean Ramsey. A portion of the sales from this limited edition will be donated to the "Save The Turtles International charity."

The new generation of the S302 GMT remains faithful to its predecessors, as two versions of the trio come in a three-piece Trip-Tick stainless case that measures 40 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness, and the third comes in a black DLC case. However the new S302 introduces a new approach to managing multiple time zones. Whereas the original model featured an elapsed time bezel with a 24-hour scale on the dial flange, the second-generation S302 flips this design. All three versions now feature unidirectional 24-hour bezels making it an indicator for the third time zone, complemented by a 60-minute scale on the dial flange. They're adorned with domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protecting the dials, complemented by screw-down crown positioned at 3 o’clock. Additionally, the trio comes with a screw-down stainless steel casebacks with engravings of a plane emblem, and 300 meters of water resistance.

The dial is complemented by printed indexes in white Super-LumiNova, which emits a blue glow. A blue dial ring with a printed minute track adds to the visual appeal, and a date window sits at 3 o'clock, with polished hour, minute, and second hands that are filled with white Super-LumiNova that gives a blue glow. The GMT hand is also polished and features an orange tip that is filled with white Super-LumiNova giving a green glow, enhancing legibility in low-light conditions.

The new generation of the Supermarine S302 is powered by the BE-932AV caliber that is chronometer rated to ISO 3159 standards, a modified ETA based movement. This automatic chronometer operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz), with 50 hours of power reserve.

The blue and green model is available at £3,250 for the rubber strap which is equivalent to AED 14,500, and £3,650 for the stainless steel bracelet, equivalent to AED 16,000. The DLC-coated S302 GMT Jet is set at £3,700 which is equivalent to AED 16,500, whether you opt for the black vintage-style strap or the black rubber strap. The limited-edition Supermarine Ocean is priced at £3,450, equivalent to AED 15,350 for both the regular strap and brown vintage-style strap, with the bracelet variant at £3,850, which is equivalent to AED 17,150.
