Green ceramic bezel and a bejeweled bezel, setting new standard in the Chronomaster Sport collection
Zenith is a Swiss luxury watchmaker founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Neuchâtel. The company boasts a rich history in watchmaking, renowned for precision and craftsmanship. In 2021, Zenith launched the first Chronomaster Sport, and since its debut, the Chronomaster Sport has firmly established itself as a prominent choice among sporty chronographs.
On the occasion of LVMH Watch Week 2024, held in the American city, Miami, Zenith presented the latest model of the “Chronomaster Sport” . It features a green lacquered dial that matches the color of the ceramic bezel. In addition, Zenith also introduced a special version of the Chronomaster Sport in rose gold that displays the chronograph function on a captivating meteorite dial. This version is set with precious stones, making it the first bejeweled Chronomaster Sport watch.
In a noteworthy debut within the core collection of the Chronomaster Sport, the green ceramic bezel featuring engraved 1/10th of a second markings and pump-style pushers is introduced. Encased in stainless steel, the timepiece has a diameter of 41mm, accompanied by a domed sapphire crystal that undergoes anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
The interplay of tones and contrasts extends gracefully onto the dial, adorned in green lacquer to complement the ceramic bezel seamlessly. Within this timepiece, ZENITH's tricolor counters emerge in nice shades of gray and blue. The date window is positioned at 4:30 and color coordinated with the dial. Moreover, both the hands and indices are rhodium-plated and coated with SuperLuminova for enhanced visibility in various lighting conditions.
Through the open case back lies the El Primero 3600 movement, renowned for its high-frequency operation at 36,000 vph (5Hz), ensuring precision. The timepiece offers 60 hours of power reserve. Notably, this automatic movement is distinguished by a new brushed star-shaped oscillating weight. There are two options to choose from: one features a three-link stainless steel bracelet that is priced at CHF 10,900 which is equivalent to AED 47,000, while the other comes equipped with a green FKM rubber strap, specifically crafted for the Chronomaster Sport, and priced at CHF 10,400 which is equivalent to AED 44,200.
ZENITH introduces the most opulent version of the Chronomaster Sport to date. Radiant and inherently precious, this timepiece comes in a luxurious 41 mm rose gold case, extending to the bracelet. The bezel is adorned with a beautiful set of baguette-cut white diamonds, black spinels, as well as gray and blue sapphires.
The dial seamlessly blends innovative watchmaking with exquisite gem-setting. Carved from a meteorite slab, the dial undergoes hand-finishing and is then adorned with a golden hue that unveils the meteorite's distinctive Windmanstätten pattern, a crystal pattern found in some meteorites. The dial also features baguette-cut diamond hour markers and applied chronograph counters in traditional shades of gray and blue. To complete the harmonious ensemble, the date window is elegantly executed in a gold tone that perfectly matches the dial. Powering this timepiece is the iconic El Primero 3600 caliber, offering 60 hours of power reserve, with a price of CHF 88,000 which is equivalent to AED 373,900.
