The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

GoS

The Swedish brand GoS was founded in 2007, by master blade maker Mr. Johann Gustafsson and master watchmaker Mr. Patrick Sjögren. The brand is characterized by its deep appreciation for ancient Scandinavian craftsmanship traditions and aims to incorporate them into their watches.

One of the distinctive features of GoS is the use of handcrafted Damascus steel. Each piece of this steel is individually made, resulting in unique patterns and characteristics in each watch. Since 2021, Mr. Patrik Sjögren has become the sole owner of GoS.

The brand uses locally sourced American moose leather for their watch straps, adding another traditional Swedish handcrafted element.

The designs of GoS watches draw inspiration from Scandinavian history and nature. The "Nordic Seasons" series showcases the contrasts of seasons in the Scandinavian countries through different color schemes. The Northern Lights have inspired the "Aurora" watch, and ancient Viking decoration patterns are revived and integrated into the watch dials and other components. The watch hands are handmade and hand-finished by Mr. Patrik Sjögren, featuring intricate patterns.

In addition to their existing models, GoS offers custom-made watches, allowing customers to request specific patterns and colors based on a wide range of Damascus techniques showcased in Johan Gustafsson's and other knife productions, as well as previous GoS watches.
