Inspired by the Parisian horizon with an elegant verdant gradient dial
Zenith is known for its precision timepieces and groundbreaking movements, and among its iconic collections is the Defy line, which serves as a modern successor to the original Zenith Defy wristwatch model from 1969. As Paris prepares to welcome visitors from around the globe for the Summer Olympics, Zenith seizes the moment to launch a France-exclusive edition of the Defy Skyline with a stunning verdant gradient dial.
The timepiece features a 41mm diameter stainless steel case with a 12mm thickness, combining brushed and polished accents for a sophisticated finish. Its raised 12-sided bezel adds a unique touch, while sapphire crystals on both sides ensure clarity of the dial and the movement. Additionally, the watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
The watch draws inspiration from the Parisian horizon, where classical and contemporary architecture blend seamlessly into a unique panorama. From the lavish rooftops of historical buildings to the art-nouveau metro entrances and bridges from a bygone era. Aside from its color, the dial retains the original display of time found in the rest of the collection. The hours and minutes are displayed in the center and coated with Super-LumiNova, complemented by a date window at 3 o'clock. The sub-dial at 9 o’clock displays 1/10th of a second.
The watch is powered by the iconic in-house caliber El Primero 3620, an automatic movement boasting a 60-hour power reserve and operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vph (5Hz). The watch comes with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Additionally, a black rubber strap with a starry sky pattern is included. Both can be easily swapped using the quick strap change mechanism.

The watch is limited to 50 pieces and is available exclusively in Zenith’s physical and online boutiques in France, priced at USD 9,800, equivalent to AED 36,000.
