A New Chapter, A Bold Addition to One of the Most Famous Chronographs
On the occasion of LVMH Watch Week 2025, Zenith unveils the new Chronomaster Sport Rainbow, a testament to nearly 160 years of innovation in watchmaking. The dial is equally captivating, featuring color-matched sapphire indices that complete the dazzling rainbow effect.
The Chronomaster Sport, as we know it, debuted three years ago. Initially introduced in steel, Zenith later expanded the collection to include rose gold and titanium variants, as well as versions featuring meteorite dials and gemstones. Combining sports luxe with the time-honored artistry of high horology and gem-setting, the watch flaunts 10 baguette diamonds and 52 rainbow baguette sapphires on the bezel and black lacquered dial.
Adorning the black dial are the model's signature classic tri-color a blue-to-grey spectrum subdials decorated with snailing pattern. that indicate small seconds, 60 minutes, and 60 seconds, respectively. A discreet date window is positioned between the 4 and 5 hour indices, blending seamlessly with the dial's color. Another unique aspect of this watch is the applied rainbow sapphire hour indices. The watch features rhodium-plated hands coated with SuperLuminova.
Inside the watch is the iconic El Primero 3600 automatic chronograph movement, which operates at 36,000 VPH (5Hz) and offers a power reserve of 60 hours. It features a silicon escapement. This movement is visible through the crystal caseback with its star-shaped skeletonized rotor.
