Introducing Vacheron Constantin Unveils Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Editions
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A White Gold Edition With Burgundy Dial and a Full Rose Gold Version
Vacheron Constantin expands the Overseas collection with two new editions of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin the first in pink gold with a matching dial, and the second in white gold with a burgundy lacquer dial.
The Overseas line continues to combine sporty character with contemporary elegance, while these new colors join last year’s green editions, alongside earlier versions with silver, pink-beige, and the collection’s emblematic blue dials. These latest releases also come as part of the Maison’s celebration of its 270th anniversary.
The first edition is an ode to pink gold, extending from the case and bracelet to the dial, hands, and applied markers, even the moon phase disk is harmonized in the same tone. The second model offers a more striking contrast, combining a white gold case with a burgundy lacquer dial, complemented by tone-on-tone sub-dials and moon phase, together with white gold markers and hands.
Both versions are presented in 41.5 mm cases crafted in 18K gold, with a remarkably slim profile of just 8.1 mm. Each case features a soft iron casing ring to ensure anti-magnetic protection, while water resistance is rated to 50 meters. The finishing alternates between satin-brushed surfaces on the caseband and a polished bezel, giving depth and sophistication to the design.
The dials display the perpetual calendar indications in perfect symmetry: date at 3 o’clock, moon phase at 6 o’clock, day at 9 o’clock, and months with leap year at 12 o’clock. The pink gold model features a sunray-brushed dial with matching sub-dials and moon phase, while the burgundy lacquer version pairs its rich hue with tone-on-tone detailing for a cohesive aesthetic.
Powering both models is the automatic Calibre 1120 QP, an ultra-thin movement developed and manufactured in-house by Vacheron Constantin, topped with a perpetual calendar module. Just 4.05 mm thick, it beats at 19,800 vibrations per hour (2.75 Hz) and offers a power reserve of around 40 hours. Comprising 276 components, including 36 jewels, it bears the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva.
Through the transparent sapphire caseback, the 22K gold oscillating weight can be admired, engraved with a compass rose symbolizing the Overseas spirit of travel and exploration. Exceptional Haute Horlogerie finishing, including Côtes de Genève, straight-graining, chamfering, and circular-graining, enhances the interplay of light across the movement.
Each edition comes with a matching 18K gold bracelet composed of half Maltese cross-shaped links with alternating polished and satin-brushed finishes, secured by a triple-blade folding clasp with push-pieces and a comfort-adjustment system. Both models are also delivered with two additional interchangeable straps, one in dark blue or burgundy rubber and a second in white rubber, each equipped with a matching gold buckle.
The new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin models join the permanent collection and are priced at €134,000, equivalent to AED 573,600.
