Celebrating its 270th anniversary with 4 Patrimony releases
With roots dating back to 1755, Vacheron Constantin isn’t just one of the oldest watchmakers, it’s one of the most revered. For 270 years, the Maison has stayed true to the art of traditional Swiss watchmaking, masterfully blending heritage with innovation. Over the centuries, it’s built a rock-solid reputation for precision, elegance, and mechanical excellence. To mark this remarkable 270-year journey, Vacheron Constantin is rolling out four exclusive limited-edition timepieces in its iconic Patrimony collection.
The Patrimony collection is all about understated luxury. It channels the minimalist vibe of Vacheron Constantin's 1950s timepieces, clean lines, slim profiles, and timeless elegance. This year, at Watches & Wonders 2025, the brand is showcasing two Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date models and two Patrimony Self-Winding models, each with its own charm.
The Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date comes in a 42.5mm case with a sleek 9.7mm thickness. It’s available in white gold or pink gold, both with a polished finish. Meanwhile, the Patrimony Self-Winding is slightly smaller at 40mm and 8.65mm thick, but it doesn’t skimp on style, same precious metal options, same classic proportions. Both models have sapphire crystals on both sides and are water-resistant up to 30 meters.

Vacheron Constantin went with a silver-toned dial and added its signature Maltese Cross emblem, a nod to the brand’s heritage. On the Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date, you get 18K gold applied hands and indices, plus a blued retrograde date hand that elegantly sweeps across the upper half of the dial. The moon-phase display sits at 6 o’clock, giving it a balanced, harmonious look. The Self-Winding model keeps it simple with a time-and-date display, featuring a date window at 6 o’clock and those same elegant 18K gold hands and indices.
These watches are powered by impressive in-house movements. The Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date uses the automatic Calibre 2460 R31L/270, running at 28,800 vph (4Hz) with a 40-hour power reserve. The Self-Winding model features Calibre 2450 Q6/270, also automatic, with the same frequency and power reserve. Both movements feature an openworked 18K gold rotor shaped like the Maltese Cross, along with Vacheron Constantin’s exclusive 'Côte Unique' finish, a decorative technique the brand rediscovered in 2021 when its Restoration Workshop undertook the recreation of the original Historiques American 1921 model and its movement with this distinctive finish.

Both models come with luxurious Dark green alligator leather straps, hand-stitched with tone-on-tone threads and large square scales. They fasten with an 18K gold pin buckle shaped like a half Maltese Cross. As for availability, the Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date is limited to 270 pieces in each metal and priced at $34,700, equiviant to AED 131,000 while the Patrimony Self-Winding comes in 370 pieces per metal, with a price of $53,000, equivalent to AED 199,000.
