The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Two New Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Models

Black and green ceramic adorn the iconic Offshore collection

Audemars Piguet continues to celebrate its 150th anniversary with two new ceramic chronograph additions to its Royal Oak Offshore collection. Originally launched in 1993 as a bigger, more robust version of the iconic Royal Oak, the Offshore line quickly became AP's favorite testing ground for new materials.

The new releases include a 43 mm Chronograph with green accents and a 42 mm all-black ceramic edition, each showcasing Audemars Piguet’s expertise in ceramic craftsmanship. The 43 mm Chronograph pairs a black ceramic case with vibrant green ceramic accents on the bezel, crown, and pushers. It measures 14.4 mm in thickness and has a titanium caseback that ensures 100 meters of water resistance.

On the other hand, the 42 mm all-black ceramic edition takes a stealthy approach, featuring an entirely black ceramic case complemented by steel hexagonal screws. This case has a thickness of 15.3 mm and the same 100-meter water resistance.

The 43 mm Chronograph features a dark green PVD dial adorned with the Méga Tapisserie pattern, paired with a black inner bezel and a 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 6, and a 30-minute chronograph at 9 o’clock. The luminescent hands and indices are crafted from white gold. In contrast, the 42 mm all-black ceramic edition maintains its monochrome theme with a black PVD dial and a black inner bezel; however, the counters remain in the same position, with the 12-hour counter shifting to the 12 o’clock position. The blackened 18-carat white gold hands and indices filled with luminescent material enhance readability. Both models feature date windows placed at 4:30 or 3 o’clock without compromising the overall aesthetic.

Underneath these bold exteriors are high-performance movements that uphold Audemars Piguet’s legacy of precision. The 43 mm Chronograph is powered by the Calibre 4401, an automatic movement featuring a flyback chronograph function. Meanwhile, the 42 mm all-black ceramic edition is equipped with the Calibre 4404, which mirrors the functionalities of the 4401 but is tailored to the 42 mm case design. Both calibers operate at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offer an impressive power reserve of 70 hours. The 43 mm model also showcases a 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight in dark grey, visible through the sapphire caseback.

The 43 mm Chronograph comes with a dark green textured calfskin leather strap secured by a titanium pin buckle, along with an additional black rubber strap. In line with its monochrome theme, the 42 mm all-black ceramic edition features a black ceramic bracelet with a three-blade folding clasp in titanium. The green chronograph is priced at EUR 58,200, approximately AED 224,500, while the black edition is offered at EUR 85,900 approximately AED 331,300.
