The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Swatch x Blancpain Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean

A bold new addition to the collection with a vibrant pink aesthetic

Swatch and Blancpain have once again joined forces to merge their distinctive styles, blending Swatch’s playful innovation with Blancpain’s rich heritage. Both brand’s kick off this year with the Swatch x Blancpain Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean, featuring a bold pink aesthetic. This watch builds on the success of previous models in the Swatch x Blancpain Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms series, including the Blue Lagoon, released recently, along with several others.

The case is crafted entirely from Bioceramic, a material composed of two-thirds zirconium oxide ceramic powder and one-third biosourced material derived from castor oil. This blend results in a material that balances strength and softness. The case measures 42.3mm in diameter and 14.4mm in thickness, while the vibrant pink hue extends to the bezel frame, crown, and caseback, creating a striking monochromatic look. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a light pink resin insert with a 60-minute scale enhanced by Grade A Super-LumiNova. The watch is equipped with a push-pull crown and offers water resistance up to 91 meters (50 fathoms).

The dial boasts a pink sunray finish, complemented by Super-LumiNova Arabic numerals and indices, along with matching hands for excellent legibility. A date window is subtly positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, while the text and logos are rendered in darker pink tones for contrast.

The watch is powered by the Sistem51 automatic movement, which operates at 21,600 vph (4Hz) and provides an impressive 90-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, which also features water patterns and a depiction of the Ceratodoris rosacea nudibranch, a species of sea slug.

It comes with a pink NATO strap made from recycled fishing nets, featuring pink stripes. A Bioceramic pin buckle and loops complete the vibrant aesthetic. This timepiece joins the permanent collection and is priced at EUR 400, equivalent to AED 1,500.
