Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing The New Glashütte Original PanoMaticCalendar Blue of Dawn

A limited edition with a beautiful dark blue dial

Glashütte Original is one of Germany’s leading watchmakers, based in the historic town of Glashütte. The brand is celebrated for its refined craftsmanship and mastery of Saxon watchmaking traditions, which have paved the way for many of its most successful releases, including the Pano collection. Within this line, the PanoMaticCalendar stands out as one of the most sophisticated models, combining the iconic Panorama Date with an annual calendar and moonphase. This year, the collection welcomes a striking new interpretation, the PanoMaticCalendar Blue of Dawn.

The watch is housed in a platinum case measuring 42 mm in diameter and 12.4 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug span of 49.28 mm. The case alternates between brushed and polished surfaces, giving it a refined contrast. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback that showcases the movement within. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.

The skeletonised dial is inspired by the deep tones of the early morning sky, presented in a rich dark blue. It features an off-centre hours and minutes display with small seconds, while the large Panorama Date is positioned at 4 o’clock. The moonphase appears at 2 o’clock with a precise 29.5-day cycle. Encircling the dial is a retrograde month display, highlighted by a tinted sapphire element that frames the current month. The dial is completed with applied white gold indices paired with luminous dots and heat-blued hands.

Powering the watch is the in-house Calibre 92-11, an automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a 100-hour power reserve. It is equipped with a silicon balance spring and features the brand’s signature “Double G” rotor.

The PanoMaticCalendar Blue of Dawn is offered on either a blue Louisiana alligator leather strap or a synthetic fabric strap, both secured with a platinum folding clasp. Limited to 150 pieces, it is priced at USD 43,800 (approximately AED 160,900).
