The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Audemars Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon 38mm in Sand Gold

For the first time, the Calibre 2968 (RD#3) joins the Code 11.59 collection

Audemars Piguet’s Code 11.59 collection, unveiled in 2019, marked a major shift in the brand’s design approach, sparking controversy within the watch community. Some saw it as a great addition to the brand, while others felt it went against expectations, given the public’s familiarity with the iconic Royal Oak. Blending contemporary aesthetics with traditional watchmaking craftsmanship, the Code 11.59 is known for its bold, modern silhouette and complex construction. This year, the brand is expanding the collection with the Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon 38mm in Sand Gold.

This new model is the first in the 38mm Code 11.59 collection to feature the selfwinding flying tourbillon, previously seen in the 37mm steel RD#3 counterpart, the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin. The new release introduces a fusion of modern technology and luxury, crafted in 18-carat sand gold and accented with diamonds, marking a new chapter for the collection.

The case has a diameter of 38mm and a thickness of just 9.6mm. The sand gold case is a unique alloy that shifts between white and pink gold depending on the light. The case is both brushed and polished, and it is set with 235 brilliant-cut diamonds, carefully selected to fit the various geometries of the case. The dial is protected by a glareproofed sapphire crystal, while the sapphire caseback allows a glimpse of the intricate movement inside.

The dial, coated with sand gold PVD and created in collaboration with Swiss guilloché artisan Yann Von Kaenel, features concentric circles and tiny perforations, creating a captivating basketweave pattern. The dial has 18k sand gold indices and hands coated with luminescent tips, along with a snailed inner bezel. At 6 o'clock, you can see the one-minute flying tourbillon.

The watch is powered by Calibre 2968, an ultra-thin automatic movement measuring just 3.4mm in thickness. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 50 hours. The timepiece is fitted with a beige alligator strap and a sand gold triple-folding clasp set with 42 brilliant-cut diamonds. It is priced at EUR 188,300, which is approximately equivalent to AED 725,300.
