The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

A gold bracelet for the first time on the Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet and Chronograph models

Blancpain presents the Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet and Chronographe Flyback models in full Red Gold. Featuring a case and bracelet crafted from 18K red gold. two months ago Bathyscaphe watches, presented on a black ceramic case and bracelet and it was the first time Blancpain launched a bracelet made of ceramic. now comes in red gold but a little smaller and thinner case.

Blancpain introduced the Fifty Fathoms in 1953 as one of the first true diver’s watches. The Bathyscaphe, a more versatile version for daily wear, followed in 1956. The modern Bathyscaphe, unveiled at Baselworld in 2013, has evolved into a key series for Blancpain, with various models, including chronographs and time-and-date versions.

The Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet was first introduced in 2018 in a stainless steel version, housing caliber 6654.P with its Quantième Complet (complete calendar) complication. This combination of classic complication and diving credentials makes it such a special watch. The watch, already available in a gold case, now has a gold bracelet to match. We recently saw it in a ceramic case combined with a ceramic bracelet.

 

Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune Gold

The new Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune features a 43 mm red gold case, measures 13.4 mm thick, thinner than the ceramic edition, and offers water resistance up to 300 meters. It also includes a sapphire crystal and a red gold bezel with a ceramic insert, showcasing its diver’s watch heritage with a unidirectional rotating bezel.

The dial comes in elegant blue, featuring a subtle gradient combined with a sunburst finish. The Quantième Complet, or Complete Calendar, includes a traditional pointer date display around the dial, day of the week and month windows at 12 o'clock, and moon phases in a sub-dial at 6 o'clock.

The automatic movement is caliber 6654.P, which offers a 72-hour power reserve thanks to its two barrels. This secure movement allows the wearer to adjust the calendar indications at any time of day without risk of damage. Adorned with traditional Fine Watchmaking decorations such as bevelling, circular graining, and snailing, this calibre incorporates a silicon balance spring, making it impervious to magnetism.

Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback Gold

The other model now available with a red gold bracelet is the striking Blue Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback. Encased in a 43 mm x 13.4 mm red gold case, this version features a gradient blue sunburst brushed dial and a matching red gold bezel. The watch is driven by the high-end caliber F385 chronograph movement. This automatic movement, featuring an integrated column-wheel and vertical clutch, operates at a 5 Hz frequency and offers a power reserve of up to 50 hours.

Both watches are priced the same, at 211,950 AED.
