The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Oris collaborates with Collective Horology Unveiling the Divers Seventy-Five Calibre 400 C.04

A watch that draws its design from the 1970s, with fresh California sunset colors

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five is a line of dive watches produced by Oris, a Swiss watchmaker known for crafting mechanical timepieces. This particular model is a modern re-interpretation of an Oris dive watch from the 1960s, as its name suggests. The Oris Divers Sixty-Five is popular among watch enthusiasts who appreciate its blend of retro design with modern technology, as well as its relatively accessible price point compared to other Swiss-made dive watches.

Today, we turn the spotlight on Collective Horology, a members-only club from California that is passionately committed to conceptualizing collaborative timepieces for watch enthusiasts. This exclusive circle has forged an alliance with Oris. United by a shared vision, they have reimagined the iconic Divers Sixty-Five series, unveiling the “Divers Seventy-Five Calibre 400 C.04 for Collective”, embracing a 1970s-inspired color palette that synchronize perfectly with Oris's signature bicolor composition of bronze and steel.

The Divers Seventy-Five, with its 40 mm x 12.8 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case, resonates with the iconic aesthetic of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five, as it features a unidirectional rotating bronze bezel that mirrors the shape of the vintage inspiration. Setting itself apart, the bezel is equipped with an aluminum insert, crowned by a triangular marker at the 12 o'clock position, a distinct departure from the original dot indicator of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five. Embracing historical authenticity alongside modern resilience, the watch replaces the vintage plexiglass' steep dome with a similarly shaped but far more durable sapphire crystal, that also covers the caseback.

The watch's dial pays tribute to the 1970s California graphic design, showcasing a beautiful sunset palette with an orange seconds track in the middle of the dial, surrounded by shades of red orange. This watch brings back the Arabic numerals and baton indices that hark back to the iconic 1960s Oris Diver, eschewing a date display to enhance the dial's classic aesthetic. The dial features Luminescence material on the hour, minute, and central seconds hands ensuring legibility in low light conditions.

At its core lies the proprietary Oris Caliber 400. This automatic movement is COSC certified, and  vibrates at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers 5 days (120-hours) of power reserve. This timepiece is limited to just 250 pieces, and secured on the wrist with a vintage style riveted stainless steel and bronze 3-link bracelet, providing a comfortable and adjustable fit with a folding clasp.
