Compact cases in varied materials powered by two new automatic movements
The Seamaster collection was first introduced in 1948, and has spanned everything from tool watches to elegant daily wearers. Within this lineage, the Aqua Terra stands out for its ability to navigate both land and sea, marrying robustness with refinement. In 2002, Omega launched the Aqua Terra as a stylish interpretation of the Seamaster, drawing inspiration from the 1957 Seamaster 300. Over time, it has evolved into a core pillar of the brand’s offering, available in multiple sizes and colours to suit a broad audience.
This year, Omega continues to refine the Aqua Terra with 12 new releases of a new 30mm collection. Far from being a scaled-down replica, this sub-line was designed from the ground up, and it introduces two entirely new automatic movements tailored for the smaller case.
The 30mm Aqua Terra arrives in a case that is 10.65mm thick, striking a balance between elegance and presence. Crafted in a variety of materials, including stainless steel, 18k Sedna Gold, 18k Moonshine Gold, and bi-colour combinations. Signature lyre lugs, a hallmark of the Seamaster line, are present here as well. The collection features domed sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and a screw-down crown ensures proper sealing.

Each model is fitted with a transparent sapphire caseback that reveals the intricate movement finishing inside. Like its larger siblings, the 30mm Aqua Terra is built for adventure with a solid water resistance of 150 meters.

Omega presents a rich array of sunray lacquered dials and mother-of-pearl options across the 12 references. Dial colours range from classic black, blue, and silver to more expressive tones like lavender, green, golden, and linen. Select models elevate the aesthetic with diamond-set bezels and indices. Across the board, applied gold hull-shaped indices filled with white Super-LumiNova and gold dauphine-style hands ensure optimal legibility. The dial also features a circular date window at 6 o’clock.

Powering this collection are two newly developed automatic movements, Calibre 8750 for steel and two-tone models, and Calibre 8751 for full-gold references. Both are Master Chronometer-certified by METAS and feature co-axial escapements, and bi-directional winding. They beat at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5Hz) and deliver a 48-hour power reserve. Though functionally identical, the 8751 is slightly thicker (4.08mm) due to its heavier gold rotor, compared to the 8750’s 3.98mm profile.

All models come fitted with integrated metal bracelets, crafted in matching steel, gold, or bi-colour configurations, featuring a mix of brushed and polished finishes. A butterfly clasp with side-pushers and 2mm comfort adjustment ensures a secure and flexible fit.
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm collection is not a limited edition and joins the permanent lineup. Prices vary based on material and gem-setting. The collection starts at EUR 6,900, approximately AED 30,000 for stainless steel references, and goes up to EUR 42,200 approximately AED 177,900 for Moonshine Gold models with diamond-set bezels and mother-of-pearl dials.
