Four new releases with beautiful and elegant styles
A GMT or a dual time watch, is a versatile timepiece designed to display the time in two different locations simultaneously. This unique feature makes GMT watches an ideal companion for frequent travelers, pilots, and anyone needing to track multiple time zones with ease. Whether you're navigating international business meetings or simply wanting to keep tabs on the time back home while exploring a new city, a GMT watch has you covered.
One brand that executes this complication with exceptional style is Nodus, a Los Angeles-based company that distinguishes itself as an innovative design and research firm within the watch industry. Nodus focuses on creating remarkably durable watches that effortlessly blend advanced technology with affordability. Now, the brand is unveiling the third generation of the iconic Nodus travel watch, the Contrail GMT. This timepiece, designed to track three time zones, is expertly crafted to meet the demands of both globetrotters and adventurers.

The watch features a case made from 316L stainless steel, providing a durable and corrosion-resistant base. With a diameter of 40.5 mm, a lug-to-lug distance of 46.6 mm, and a slim profile at 11.8 mm, the Contrail GMT is well-balanced and suits wrists of all sizes. The dial is protected by a box sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, surrounded by a bidirectional bezel. A luminous sapphire insert on the bezel displays a 24-hour scale, enabling easy tracking of three time zones simultaneously.

The Contrail GMT offers four unique dial aesthetics, each designed to inspire a sense of wanderlust. The Laguna (beige) and Terra (black) dials return as fan favorites, featuring a sand-grain texture that evokes the feel of Earth's landscapes. The (Impulse) with its sunburst dial, captures varying shades of blue, reminiscent of a clear sky. For those who appreciate a clean and refined look, there's also an elegant white dial (Polaris).
Each of the four Contrail GMT watches includes a date window positioned at 6 o’clock, and a newly designed GMT hand with an oversized tip that forms half of the Nodus chevron logo. A medium gray sub-chapter ring aligns seamlessly with the dial and contains the minute track, while a black chapter ring holds the fixed 24-hour time scale for easy reference. The applied indices and hands are filled with bright Super-LumiNova for optimal visibility in low-light conditions, and the minute hand extends precisely to the minute track for accurate timekeeping.
The watch is powered by the Miyota 9075 flyer-style GMT movement, an automatic movement which is regulated in-house to maintain an accuracy of ±8 seconds per day. Operating at 28,800 VPH (4Hz), this movement offers a 42-hour power reserve. Each timepiece comes with stainless steel bracelets that are secured by NodeX clasp, and each are priced at USD 870 which is equivalent to AED 3,200 (inc.VAT).
