The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing New H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green & Purple Haze

The second generation of the iconic “Green Dragon” with a new purple reference

The Streamliner collection by H. Moser & Cie represents the pinnacle of luxury sports watches with integrated bracelets, debuting in 2020 with the Flyback Chronograph model. Two years after its initial release, this model underwent some upgrades. However, within the same year of its debut, the brand introduced a simpler time-only model titled the "Streamliner Centre Seconds" with a beautiful Matrix Green fumé dial. This model, nicknamed the "Green Dragon" by collectors, became the second addition to the collection, garnering widespread acclaim and achieving iconic status. Despite significant demand, H. Moser & Cie. opted to halt new orders, utilizing this pause to refine both the aesthetic and technical aspects of the timepiece.

Now, the brand unveils the Mark 2 Streamliner Centre Seconds, bringing back the Green Dragon alongside a striking new variant called Purple Haze. The latest release preserves the iconic cushion-shaped case, boasting a diameter of 40mm and a thickness of 10.3mm (12.1mm, including the sapphire crystal). The stainless steel case is adorned with brushed and polished finishes. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, with a similar glass gracing the caseback, complemented by a screw-in crown featuring an "M" logo.

In green or purple hues, the dial showcases a sunburst finish with the brand's logo in transparent lacquer, akin to a discreet signature. The time is indicated with 3D hands, crafted in two sections and incorporating inserts crafted from Globolight, a pioneering ceramic-based material infused with Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.

At the core of the Streamliner Centre Seconds model beats the HMC 201 automatic calibre, a 100% Swiss mechanical Manufacture movement. Replacing its predecessor, the HMC 200, this updated movement introduces some enhancements. These include a wider aperture onto the mechanism, achieved through partially skeletonized bridges, paired with a modern anthracite gray finish. This expanded view allows for observation of the gear train, central seconds, and bidirectional rotor. Operating at 21,600 vph (3Hz), and still offers a power reserve of at least 3 days.

Both watches come with an integrated steel bracelet, secured with a folding clasp featuring three steel blades, and both share the price of CHF 21,900 which is equivalent to AED 89,500.
