Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing Ming Launches the New 57.04 Iris

Celebrating the brand’s 8th anniversary with its first destro release

Ming is one of the independent watchmaking success stories of the past decade. Since its founding in 2017 under the creative direction of Ming Thein, the brand has earned a reputation for bold ideas expressed through more than 75 references, spanning lightelegant, and highly creative designs.

This year, the brand celebrates its 8th anniversary with the launch of the 57.04 Iris, a chronograph that introduces its fifth-generation design language and debuts Ming’s first destro (left-handed) configuration.

The watch is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case, measuring 11.85mm in thickness with a 47.8mm lug-to-lug span. While its proportions are larger than those of many earlier Ming models, the design remains carefully balanced for comfort on most wrists. The stepped lugs, composed of multiple precisely finished parts, combine polished and brushed surfaces to create a sculptural, architectural aesthetic. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire caseback offers a clear view of the movement within. Laser-cut indices filled with Ming’s proprietary Polar White lume are integrated into the top crystal, ensuring excellent visibility in the dark. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters.

The dial is crafted on a brass base with a multiphasic coating, the surface transitions dynamically from turquoise to purple, with intermediate hues of blue. A 30-minute chronograph counter appears at 6 o’clock, built in a sandwich-style construction, and glows vividly thanks to its luminous treatment. The dial is completed by blue-coated, diamond-cut hands filled with Super-LumiNova X1.

Inside, the watch is powered by the hand-wound Sellita for Ming Caliber SW562.M1, developed in collaboration with Sellita exclusively for this model. It drives the hours, minutes, central chronograph seconds, and 30-minute counter. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), the movement delivers a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound.

Each piece is delivered with a stainless steel Universal Bracelet, designed to integrate seamlessly across multiple Ming models, along with an anthracite goat leather strap fitted with a stainless steel tuck buckle. Limited to just 100 pieces, the Ming 57.04 Iris is priced at CHF 6,250, approximately AED 28,600.
