The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Ming Begins a New Chapter with the 37.02 Minimalist

The first watch to be designed and engineered at the brand's new Swiss factory

Founded in 2017, MING set out to revive excitement in the watch industry through carefully crafted designs and the exploration of innovative materials and engineering. Despite being a young brand, MING has already achieved remarkable technical milestones, including producing the world’s lightest watch,a release that captivated watch enthusiasts globally.

Last year, we had an exciting meeting the founder, Mr. Ming Thein, who shared insights into the brand’s inception and its journey. During our engaging discussion, he revealed plans to establish a dedicated factory in Switzerland. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that MING has inaugurated its new factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, marking this milestone with the launch of the 37.02 Minimalist Edition.

Crafted in stainless steel, the 37.02 case measures 38mm in diameter and 11mm in height. Its narrow bezel and mixed polished-brushed finishes give it a refined, visually larger, and slimmer appearance while maintaining comfort for various wrist sizes. The oversized crown, paired with double gaskets, ensures easy winding and setting, as well as water resistance up to 100 meters.

The dial, crafted from luminous sapphire, features a dynamic design that enhances visibility. Laser-cut channels create striking dial markings, adding depth and contrast. Both the hour and minute hands are coated in blue-emitting Super-LumiNova X1 for exceptional legibility, providing contrast with the hour indices that glow white.

Under the sapphire crystal case back, the customized automatic caliber SW300-1 from Sellita is exposed, which is the same movement used in MING’s famous diving watch, the MING 37.09 Bluefin. Featuring anthracite open-worked bridges and a rotor. It operates at a frequency of 4Hz, includes a stop-seconds mechanism, and offers a 50-hour power reserve.

The watch comes with a black FKM rubber strap and features the brand’s signature keeperless tuck buckle. It is priced at CHF 3,250, which is equivalent to AED 13,800.
