Fusing Lewis Hamilton’s Passion For Watches And Motorsport, Giving Birth To The Third Limited Edition With IWC
Watchmakers and automotive companies often engage in partnerships to craft limited-edition timepieces. These alliances are a tribute to their common dedication to precision, artistry, and inventive spirit. Notable brands such as IWC have collaborated with the Motorsport industry to craft unique watches.
IWC has a longstanding connection with motorsport. In 2004, it entered into a partnership with Mercedes-AMG, becoming the official engineering partner of the automaker. In 2010, Mercedes embarked on its Formula 1 journey by joining forces with the Brawn GP team, which later evolved into the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Since then, Mercedes has consistently performed at the forefront of the race, regularly securing podium finishes and multiple World Championships.
