Five new references with meteorite dials and luxurious cases
Hermès is a renowned French luxury brand, primarily recognized for its high-quality leather goods, accessories, clothing, and fragrances. However, in the 1920s the brand started creating watches with innovative designs. The Arceau collection is one of the brand’s iconic releases, as it is known for its artistic take on horology, originally designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978. Its asymmetrical lugs and elegant curves are inspired by equestrian stirrups which are Hermès source of inspiration in most of their designs.
This year, Hermès continues to expand this series with two standout models: the Arceau L’heure de la lune, with beautiful meteorite dials, and the Arceau Le temps voyageur, a nice twist on the worldtimer.
The Arceau L’heure de la lune displays the moon phases in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres simultaneously, using a rotating dial showing the time and date display orbiting around two static moons adorned with Pegasus illustrations by the french artist Dimitri Rybaltchenko.
The collection features three captivating models, Blue Grey Moon, Vesta, and Erg Chech, each housed in exquisitely crafted cases. The Blue Grey Moon showcases a white gold case with a striking blue DLC-coated titanium bezel, while the Vesta stands out with its rose gold case paired with a grey DLC-coated titanium bezel. The Erg Chech completes the trio with a white gold case complemented by a rose gold bezel. All models share a 43mm diameter and offer 30m water resistance.
The Blue Grey Moon features a dial crafted from lunar meteorite, and Vesta’s dial incorporates a fragment from asteroid Vesta, revealing a dark brown hue. Meanwhile, the Erg Chech showcases a dial made from the Erg Chech meteorite, believed to be over 4.566 billion years old.

All models are powered by the Hermès calibre H1837 automatic movement, featuring the exclusive L’heure de la lune module with a 40-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The watches are paired with leather straps, and each is limited to 12 pieces.
First introduced in 2022, the Arceau Le temps voyageur by Hermès offers a playful reinterpretation of the worldtimer. Its standout feature is a mobile counter that circles the dial once every 24 hours, indicating local time against a peripheral city scale, while home time is displayed at 12 o’clock.
The collection includes two stunning variations: the Or blanc model, featuring a 41mm white gold case with a grey-blue lacquered dial, blue-varnished openworked hands, and an atlas motif inspired by Jérôme Colliard’s Planisphère d’un monde équestre silk scarf. Meanwhile, the Or rose et diamants version showcases a 38mm rose gold case adorned with 78 diamonds on the bezel, complemented by a mother-of-pearl dial with opaline champagne continents.
