Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.
The brand opens its new collection with steel or two-tone variants
The French luxury brand Hermès is expanding its catalog with a new line of mechanical timepieces titled "The Cut," featuring round-shaped watches that explore the geometric aesthetics favored by Hermès. The brand offers different models to launch this new collection, available in steel or an elegant two-tone combination of steel and rose gold—either with 56 bezel-set diamonds or without.
The Cut's case stands out with a round design measuring 36 mm in diameter and 11 mm in thickness. It features a circular satin finish with polished bevels, anti-glare sapphire crystal, and a transparent caseback. The most striking aspect of these new watches is the unconventional placement of the crown at 1:30.
Despite Hermès offering eleven different references of "The Cut," the dial options are limited to just one color: opaline silver. The dial features distinctive rounded numerals, applied in either silver or gold. The all-steel versions include small orange hour markers along the minute track and a "lollipop"-style seconds hand with an orange accent, while the two-tone models use white accents.
Powering the watch is the Manufacture Hermès H1912, an automatic movement crafted in Switzerland that offers a 50-hour power reserve. The movement's plate features circular-grained and snailed finishes. The color for "The Cut" comes entirely from its materials and strap options. Along with a selection of colored rubber straps, Hermès also provides integrated steel or two-tone bracelets with screwed links and butterfly clasps.

The pricing for Hermès' The Cut collection begins at AED 24,700 for the steel model with a rubber strap and goes up to AED 80,500 for the two-tone version with gemstones on a matching bracelet.
