Introducing H. Moser & Cie. Unveils the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition

A New Collaboration with Alpine F1 Team Yields Two Exclusive Timepieces

H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports continue their longstanding partnership by unveiling a stunning duo of limited-edition timepieces designed to captivate both haute horlogerie enthusiasts and motorsport aficionados. Announced to coincide with the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix on May 29th, 2025, this collaboration gives rise to two distinctive models: the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition.

Each watch is engineered with a specific purpose in mind: the Drivers Edition focuses on mechanical excellence and legibility under race conditions, while the Mechanics Edition is a connected quartz-powered timepiece tailored for precise timing during pit work. In this article, we spotlight the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition, a skeletonized chronograph created for pure performance.

Housed in a cushion-shaped stainless steel case treated with an eye-catching blue PVD finish, the watch measures 42.3 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm in height. It is topped with a slightly domed sapphire crystal that offers exceptional scratch resistance and clarity.

The chronograph pushers are positioned at 10 and 2 o’clock, while the screw-down crown at 4 o’clock is adorned with an engraved “M” and enhanced with a white rubber ring for improved grip. A sapphire caseback provides a view of the meticulously finished movement, and the watch offers water resistance to 120 meters.

The openworked dial of the Drivers Edition reveals the technical beauty beneath, with blue hour and minute hands featuring Globolight inserts for optimal legibility in low light. A clear minute track facilitates reading elapsed chronograph seconds and minutes, while a tachymeter scale on the flange underscores the timepiece’s motorsport credentials.

At the heart of the watch is the calibre HMC 700, an automatic chronograph movement developed in collaboration with AGENHOR exclusively for H. Moser & Cie. Fully skeletonized, the movement measures 34.4 mm in diameter and 7.3 mm in height, beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. It features bi-directional winding via a skeletonized tungsten rotor positioned between the movement and the dial, a clever technical solution that enhances efficiency without obstructing the view.

The movement is equipped with a double-barrel system offering a generous power reserve of at least 72 hours. Its chronograph mechanism is controlled by a column wheel, ensuring smooth actuation, and employs a horizontal clutch with a friction wheel. A specially engineered smooth wheel with micro-teeth eliminates unwanted jerks when the chronograph is engaged. Comprising 434 components, the movement is finished with anthracite grey rhodium plating and decorated with Moser stripes set at a 45° angle.

The watch is paired with an integrated white rubber strap, closed by a stainless steel pin buckle treated with matching blue PVD and engraved with the Moser logo.

The Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition are offered together as an exclusive set, presented in a bespoke case. Limited to just 200 sets worldwide, the duo is priced at CHF 59,000, approximately AED 262,950.
