Bulgari, the first haute horlogerie brand to join the Gran Turismo racing series video games
During the 2023 Gran Turismo World Series Finals in Barcelona, the worlds of horology and high-speed racing seamlessly merged. Collaborating with the iconic driving simulator Gran Turismo, the Italian brand Bulgari unveils two new timepieces, the Bvlgari Aluminium Gran Turismo Special Edition, a breathtaking reinterpretation of their iconic watch, viewed through the dynamic lens of the gaming phenomenon. and for the racetrack, Bulgari introduces the full-scale Bvlgari Aluminium Vision GT concept car, a spectacular hypercar crafted for the intense racing experience within the Gran Turismo game.
The BVLGARI Aluminium sports watch has continued to evoke a revolutionary worldview ever since BVLGARI first released it in 19980. Its design, retaining all of the original’s sleekness, catches the eye with a vibrant yellow directly inspired by the dashboard dials of a legendary Italian gran turismo car from the 1990s.

The BVLGARI Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition fuses the robust lightness of aluminum for the case features a 41mm diameter, with the softness of rubber for the BVLGARI-emblazoned bezel. A blend of sporty and innovative materials. The crown and caseback are forged from high-tech, extra-strong and lightweight titanium with a black DLC treatment, emblazoned with the 10th Anniversary Vision GT logo.
Bulgari introduces the editions in two limited versions, each featuring a varnished yellow dial with black indices, and an anthracite brushed dial adorned with yellow indices. The dials showcase three snail-patterned black subdials: the small second subdial at 3 o'clock, the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, and the 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock. Additionally, a date window is positioned at 4:30. The dial is framed by a tachymetric scale, which is a first for the Aluminum collection. The yellow dial is enhanced with white luminescent hands, while the anthracite dial is complemented by yellow luminescent hands.
Both watches feature the automatic Calibre B381 with a chronograph, which is designed, developed, and built by Bulgari's integrated Manufacture. The movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offers a power reserve of 42 hours. The new editions feature a black rubber strap with aluminum links and pin buckle.

Beyond the limited edition watches, the collaborators have introduced the Bulgari Aluminium Vision GT concept car. This full-scale hypercar, designed exclusively for racing in the Gran Turismo game, is one of the first ventures of its kind by a watchmaking brand into the world of digital racing.
The bodywork is brushed aluminium, with carbon for the lower body, and black rubber to protect exposed areas. Inside the cockpit, colours and materials play off each other, emphasizing the contrast between aluminium, black rubber, anthracite Alcantara, and yellow accents. The dashboard evokes the yellow dial of the new Aluminium chronographs.
