A Special Top Time B01 Chronograph Pays Tribute to the Bavarian Club Legacy
Last year, Breitling announced its partnership as the official timekeeper of FC Bayern Munich, and this collaboration gave birth to the first special edition watch as the Bavarian club celebrates its 125th anniversary. Marking the occasion even more fittingly, the club secured its 34th Bundesliga title this year.
This commemorative timepiece features design elements that will resonate with any football or Bundesliga enthusiast. The silver dial showcases a diamond-shaped motif, inspired by the club’s iconic jersey pattern and emblematic of the Bavarian state flag. Accents in deep red, the club’s signature color, adorn the chronograph seconds hand, the subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, and the tachymeter scale, tying the watch unmistakably to FC Bayern.
The stainless-steel case measures 41 mm in diameter and 13.3 mm in height, offering a balanced presence on the wrist. It is water-resistant to 100 meters and features mushroom-style chronograph pushers, adding a touch of vintage flair.
The sapphire crystal caseback proudly displays the club’s 125th anniversary logo, with the outer edge engraved “125 Jahre FC Bayern München” and “One of 125.”
Powering the watch is Breitling’s in-house Calibre B01, a COSC chronometer-certified automatic movement introduced in 2009 and integrated into the Top Time collection in 2023 with the launch of the Classic Cars series. It features a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and delivers a robust 70-hour power reserve.
The watch is paired with a perforated calfskin strap in a retro racing style, secured by a stainless-steel folding buckle.
The Breitling Top Time B01 125 Years FC Bayern München Limited Edition is strictly limited to 125 pieces, commemorating the club’s anniversary. It is available exclusively at Breitling boutiques in Munich, Berlin (Kurfürstendamm and Mitte), and Düsseldorf.
Upon request, it may also be obtained from other Breitling boutiques in Germany or selected retail partners in Munich. The timepiece is priced at EUR 7,250, approximately AED 30,000.
