A new take on an icon with an elegant Milanese gold bracelet
There’s something undeniably special about strapping on a Reverso. The way the case slides effortlessly into place, the pleasure of its polished surfaces, and the knowledge that you're wearing nearly a century of horological history, it’s an experience like no other, whether the watch is simple or highly complicated. However, in Jaeger LeCoultre’s participation in W&W 25, the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds introduces something new: a Milanese link bracelet in 18k pink gold.
We had the chance to go hands-on with this latest iteration, and let us tell you, it’s exactly the touch this collection needed. The moment you fasten the silky-smooth Milanese bracelet, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s intent becomes clear: to merge the Reverso’s timeless elegance with a contemporary refinement that is just, perfect. But is this just a visual upgrade, or does the new bracelet truly elevate the Reverso wearing experience? Let’s dive in.
But first, let's talk about the watch. It features an 18k pink gold case measuring 45.6mm × 27.4mm, with a slim 7.56mm profile, consistent with the updated Reverso Tribute collection introduced last year. The polished case is adorned with the signature Art Deco lines that define the series, while the solid caseback provides an ideal canvas for engraving or personalization.
The grained golden dial perfectly complements the warmth of the pink gold case, achieved through meticulous stamping processes that create a refined texture. Applied faceted indices, reminiscent of the original 1931 model, encircle the dial, while a small seconds subdial sits at 6 o’clock. Elegant dauphine-shaped hands complete the display, reinforcing the watch’s vintage charm.
Powering the watch is the manually wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822. Designed and assembled in-house, this movement is tailored to fit the rectangular case and offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The standout feature of this release is its Milanese link bracelet, crafted entirely from 18k pink gold. Composed of interwoven metal threads, this intricate yet flexible structure delivers a smooth, fabric-like feel on the wrist. The technique itself dates back to 13th-century Milan, hence the name, and saw a resurgence in watchmaking during the 1970s. Jaeger-LeCoultre refines the concept further with an integrated sliding clasp, ensuring both security and comfort.
The Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds joins Jaeger-LeCoultre’s permanent collection, priced at EUR 37,000 equivalent to AED 56,019.
